Tourist Travel Requirements for an Iran Visa for UK Citizens

1. Personal Application Only

   First time applicants in London must submit their application in person to provide biometric information. This information is stored on file for a period of one year. VisaCentral can assist with subsequent visa applications if the applicant has already obtained a visa from the Consulate in London.

2. Passport

   The applicant's actual signed passport. The passport must:

   • Have at least one blank visa page
   • Be valid for six months beyond entry date
   • Be free of any entry or exit stamps from Israel. Please contact VisaCentral for advice if the passport contains Israeli stamps

3. Photograph(s)

   You must provide two colour, passport type photographs that meet the following criteria:

   • Be taken within the last three months and printed on high quality photo paper
   • Be taken against an all white background
   • Be 35 mm by 45mm in size
   • Provide the full frontal view of your head with your face centered in the middle and displaying a neutral (non-smiling) expression
   • You may wear neither spectacles nor headwear except for religious purposes
   • Your photos should not be affixed to your application or display evidence of adhesive or staples

4. Proof of Approval

   This approval must:

   • Be provided as a copy of the visa reference number obtained by the inviting party in Iran
   • Be issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and include the issuing date
   • Be transmitted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and confirmed received by the Embassy prior to visa submission

5. Letter of Authorisation

   One fully completed authorisation form which must be signed in the original

6. Photocopy of Application Materials

   A photocopy of the following document(s) submitted to VisaCentral. These must:

   • Include a clear colour photocopy of the applicant's previous visa where applicable
   • Include a clear colour photocopy of the information page(s) from the applicant's passport if the visa was not issued in the passport supplied

7. Visa Application Form

   One fully completed and signed application form
