Sample of the Business Travel Requirements for an Iran Visa for UK Citizens

1. Passport

   The applicant's actual passport. The passport must: 

   • Have at least two blank visa pages
   • Be valid for six months beyond entry date
   • Be free of any entry or exit stamps from Israel. Please contact VisaCentral for advice if the passport contains Israeli stamps

2. Photographs

   Two passport sized colour photographs. The photographs must:

   • Have a white background
   • Be taken within the last six months
   • Show female applicants observing the Islamic dress code (Hejab)
   • Be glued on to the visa application form

3. Proof of Approval

   A copy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs approved invitation/telex number. To obtain this the inviting company must present a letter of invitation to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Tehran for approval. Once authorised, the inviting company will be provided with an approved telex number, which must be handwritten in black ink on the top right of the applicant's visa form. The inviting company must then fax the authorisation to the Embassy in London on: 0044 207 938 1615.  

   The Embassy will reject telex numbers issued more than three months prior to submission. Processing time begins only once the telex has arrived internally at the Embassy from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

4. Visa Application Form

   One fully completed and signed application form. This form must:

   • Be completed in black ink. Correction fluid not permitted.
   • Have Q.13 and Q.28 completed in full
   • Have the Ministry of Foreign Affairs approved telex number handwritten in black ink on the top right

5. VisaCentral Order Confirmation

   For orders placed on the VisaCentral website, a copy of the Online Order Confirmation which is sent to you via email, must be submitted.

   For all other orders, and where applicable, a completed Manual Order Form should be submitted.

   A copy of the telex number of authorisation obtained by a registered Iranian tour operator. The telex number once obtained must be handwritten in black ink on the top right of the applicant's visa form. The Iranian tour operator must then fax the authorisation to the Embassy in London on: 0044 207 938 1615.
